// INTEGRATIONS

Custom API integration with monitoring, retries and data reconciliation

For systems no ready connector covers: industry software, in house tools, legacy SOAP services or file exchange. We build the integration with a queue, retries, monitoring and daily reconciliation, so you hear about a failure before your customers do.

What hurts

You run industry software or an in house system that no off the shelf connector supports. Data is retyped into the CRM or ERP, or moved through Excel exports.

Someone once wrote an integration script on a server. It works until it does not, and when it fails, you notice a week later. The author left long ago and there are no docs.

A no code tool did not cope: data is lost on failures, there are no retries, and large volumes stop the scenario. You need an integration you can trust.

What we build

  • Analysis of both systems: API, docs, limits, data formats and authentication
  • Exchange over REST, GraphQL, SOAP, webhooks, SFTP or a database view when there is no API
  • Orchestration on Temporal: every step retried and resumed after failure
  • Idempotency: a retry never creates a duplicate, event order never corrupts data
  • Data transformation and validation, with a dead letter queue for manual review
  • Monitoring and alerts to Slack or Telegram when the exchange stops or lags
  • Daily reconciliation of counts and totals between systems
  • An MCP server when AI agents need access to the system

What you get

  • Integration code in your repository with deployment instructions
  • Documentation: data schema, exchange rules, failure scenarios
  • Monitoring panel with the queue, errors and a retry button
  • Automated tests for typical and edge case data
  • Knowledge transfer to your team

How we measure the result

  • Records transferred with no manual work
  • Lag between an event in one system and its arrival in the other
  • Exchange errors and time to fix them
  • Mismatches in the daily reconciliation

Questions

How much does a custom API integration cost?

From $5,000. The price depends on API quality on both sides, the number of entities and directions, and data volume. Two systems with good REST APIs cost less than an undocumented legacy system with file exchange. We give a fixed estimate 2–3 days after discovery, once we have studied the documentation of both systems.

What if the system has no API at all?

Then we look for another route: scheduled file exports, reading a database view with the owner’s permission, or email exchange. If none exists, we consider RPA. We tell you plainly how stable each option will be.

Why not n8n or another no code tool?

For simple scenarios we recommend n8n ourselves, it costs less. Custom code makes sense when guarantees matter: high volume, money, complex retries, security requirements. Then we use Temporal and you own the code.

How do you notice a failure?

Monitoring watches the queue, errors and lag. If the exchange stalls or falls behind, the owner gets an alert. Failed records wait in the queue with a reason and can be retried after the fix.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code lives in your repository, with documentation and tests. We support it under an SLA or hand it over to your team, whichever suits you.
