Turnstile access by face or badge, with hours going straight to payroll
The turnstile lets an employee in by face or badge. Hours worked go straight to the timesheet and payroll. Biometric templates are stored on your own server, not in a third-party cloud.
What hurts
Badges are shared and colleagues clock in for each other. Working out who was actually on shift is hard.
Timesheets live in a notebook or a spreadsheet. Every month payroll reconciles hours with supervisors and each mismatch turns into an argument.
Late arrivals and absences surface after the shift has started. The supervisor phones people one by one to see whether there are enough hands.
What we build
- Entrance survey, selection or connection of cameras and turnstiles
- Face recognition at the entrance with liveness checks
- Badge or PIN as an alternative for anyone who does not consent to biometrics
- Entry and exit records, hours calculated per shift
- Timesheet export to your HR or payroll system, SAP, Odoo or Google Sheets via API
- Telegram updates to supervisors: who is on site, who is late
- Biometric templates stored on your own server, not in the cloud
- Roles and permissions so each manager sees only their unit
What you get
- A working access system on the agreed entrances
- Automatic timesheet connected to your HR or payroll system
- Telegram bot for supervisors and a shift attendance report
- GDPR document pack: consent, notice, DPIA input, retention rules
- Documentation, access credentials and admin training
How we measure the result
- Mismatches between timesheet and actual entries
- Payroll time spent reconciling hours each month
- Cases of entry on someone else’s badge
- Time until the supervisor knows the shift headcount

Questions
What does it cost and what drives the price?
From $8,000. The price depends on the number of entrances, whether turnstiles exist, which cameras are needed, headcount and shift patterns, and the HR or payroll integration. We give a fixed estimate within 2-3 days after a survey.
Is using employee faces legal under GDPR?
Biometric data is a special category under GDPR, so you need a legal basis and usually freely given consent. We prepare the documents and give anyone who declines a badge or PIN instead. Templates stay on your server with restricted access.
Can someone fool it with a photo?
We use liveness checks and correct camera placement. AI sometimes makes mistakes, so every entry is stored with a frame and disputed cases are visible in the log. Accuracy and entry speed are measured during the pilot.
Which systems does the timesheet work with?
We send hours to HR and payroll systems via API, SAP, Odoo, Google Sheets or your own system. Existing turnstiles and access controllers can be reused if they expose an API or a standard interface. We check compatibility during discovery.
How long does implementation take?
Six to ten weeks. In 1-2 weeks of discovery we check entrances, turnstiles and employee consent, then build with weekly demos. We first run one entrance and one shift in parallel with the old process, reconcile the hours, then move the rest. Support continues under an SLA.
