PPE and danger zone monitoring on existing cameras with a violation log
Cameras on the shop floor and in the warehouse check hard hats and vests, guard danger zones and detect falls. Every violation lands in a log with a frame. Urgent cases go straight to the supervisor in Telegram.
What hurts
The safety officer cannot stand in every workshop. Hard hats come off as soon as they leave, and people step under the crane just for a minute.
Violations surface only after an injury. Then someone digs through footage, works out who stood where and collects written statements.
The inspection log is on paper and filled in after the fact. For an audit or an inspector there are signatures, not evidence.
What we build
- Audit of existing cameras on the floor and in the warehouse, RTSP or ONVIF connection
- Detection of hard hats, high visibility vests and other PPE by your rules
- Virtual danger zones: under cranes, around machines, forklift lanes
- Detection of a person falling or lying still in a zone
- Urgent Telegram alerts to the supervisor with a frame of the moment
- Violation log with frames, filtered by workshop, shift and type
- On-site analysis server, so video stays on your premises
- Setup without face recognition where your policies require it
What you get
- A working system on the agreed cameras and zones
- Violation log and dashboard for the safety officer
- Telegram bot for supervisors and a morning shift report
- Accuracy report measured on your own site
- Documentation, access credentials and training for responsible staff
How we measure the result
- PPE violations per shift and workshop
- Danger zone entries and supervisor response time
- Share of violations recorded with a frame
- Trend of violations after the system goes live

Questions
How much does it cost?
From $8,000. The price depends on the number of cameras and zones, PPE types, lighting conditions and integrations, such as your safety log or HR system. We give a fixed estimate within 2-3 days after a site visit.
Does it work with our cameras?
In most cases, yes. We need an RTSP or ONVIF stream and a camera that sees people at a usable distance. For hard hats and vests, lighting and distance matter more than the camera brand. For some zones we may suggest an extra camera instead of replacing the system.
What about employee privacy and GDPR?
The system looks for PPE and people in zones, not faces. Video is processed on your own server and never leaves the site. We help prepare employee notices, a DPIA and internal rules in line with GDPR and, where it applies, the EU AI Act.
How accurate is PPE detection?
AI sometimes makes mistakes, especially in poor light, at long range or when a person is partly hidden. So we re-run disputed frames and store every violation with its frame for review. Accuracy and false alarm rates are measured during the pilot on your site.
How long does the rollout take?
Six to ten weeks. The first 1-2 weeks go to discovery and choosing zones, then the build with weekly demos. We start with one workshop or zone, check accuracy and false alarms, then expand. After launch we support the system under an SLA.
