AI voice bot that speaks natural Ukrainian for your Ukrainian-speaking customers
Many EU companies now serve Ukrainian-speaking customers and staff. We build voice bots that speak natural Ukrainian, read amounts and addresses correctly and switch to Polish, English or Russian when the caller does.
What hurts
Most voice bots are built for English. In Ukrainian they sound like a translation: wrong stress, odd pauses, amounts read incorrectly. Callers hear a robot in the first sentence and hang up.
Ukrainian-speaking callers mix languages. Some speak pure Ukrainian, some mix in Russian words, some switch to Polish mid sentence. A bot that only understands textbook language keeps asking them to repeat.
Street names, product names and medical terms come out wrong. For a bank, insurer or clinic this is a matter of trust. One funny mistake spoils the impression of the whole service.
What we build
- Speech recognition chosen and tuned on your real call recordings
- Speech synthesis with correct stress and a dictionary of your names, brands and terms
- Amounts, dates, contract numbers and addresses spoken the way people say them
- Handling of mixed speech and switching between Ukrainian, Polish, English and Russian
- Cloning your speaker’s voice with their consent, or a ready-made voice
- A test suite of hard phrases and recordings, run before every change
- Connection to your telephony over SIP or cloud PBX
- Call analysis on our own LLM to find words the bot mispronounces or mishears
What you get
- A voice bot with tuned Ukrainian on your numbers
- A pronunciation and stress dictionary you can extend
- A language test suite built on your recordings
- A report on recognition and synthesis quality on real calls
- A guide to adding new words without a developer
How we measure the result
- Share of caller phrases recognised without a repeat request
- Share of calls where the caller hangs up in the first seconds
- Pronunciation errors on the test suite
- Naturalness rating from native speakers in a blind test

Questions
How much does a Ukrainian voice bot cost?
From $5,000. The price depends on the number of scenarios, the size of the term dictionary, whether you need voice cloning, and integrations. We give a fixed estimate within 2–3 days after discovery. Recognition, synthesis and telephony minutes are billed separately.
Does the bot really understand mixed Ukrainian?
Yes, but not perfectly. AI sometimes makes mistakes with fast speech, noise and rare words. We test recognition on your real recordings and add problem words to the dictionary. When the bot is unsure, it asks again or hands over to an operator.
Why work with a Ukrainian team on this?
Happ is a Ukrainian company with 10+ years in software. Our platform runs Ukrainian voice agents for businesses in Ukraine, including IdeaBank. We hear the difference between natural and translated Ukrainian, and we test on native speakers.
Can we use our own employee’s voice?
Yes, with that person’s written consent under GDPR. We need clean recordings of their voice. We clone it and test it on your phrases. A ready-made Ukrainian voice is faster and cheaper.
How long does the setup take?
Between 4 and 6 weeks. In the first week we collect recordings and build the dictionary. Then we tune voice and recognition with a demo every week. We launch on part of the calls and listen for words that still need fixing.
