AI audit of business processes: where AI pays off first and what to build
We walk through your processes with the people who run them. We measure what each manual step costs and show where AI integration pays back first. You get a ranked list of use cases with ROI and a clear first project.
What hurts
Everyone talks about AI, but nobody can say where to start. Department heads bring a dozen ideas and each one looks urgent. There is one budget and no way to compare them.
You may have tried a tool or a pilot that nobody uses now. The money is spent and the process is the same. The team is now sceptical about the next AI initiative.
Nobody knows how many hours go into manual work. Staff copy data between systems and answer the same questions every day. Without numbers, ideas cannot be ranked against each other.
What we build
- Interviews with process owners and the people doing the work
- BPMN map of key processes with manual steps marked
- Analysis of data from your CRM, telephony and ERP
- Sample review of calls, emails and chats where available
- Use case list with effort and impact estimates
- ROI model for each priority use case
- Risk review: data quality, access, GDPR and EU AI Act scope
- Results presentation for owners and management
What you get
- Editable process map
- Prioritised use case backlog with ROI and timelines
- Written report with a recommended first project
- Draft specification for the first project
- Recording and slides of the final presentation
How we measure the result
- Hours of manual work per month in each process
- Cost per operation before and after automation
- Payback period of the first project in the ROI model
- Share of use cases backed by data rather than opinion

Questions
How much does an AI audit cost?
From $5,000 for 2–3 weeks. The price depends on how many processes and departments we cover and how many systems we need to analyse. One area, such as sales or support, fits into two weeks. Several sites or a production floor need more interviews and more time.
What do you need from us?
About one hour with each process owner, plus read access to your CRM, telephony or an export from your ERP. We sign an NDA and a GDPR data processing agreement before we touch any data. We work under ISO/IEC 27001:2022, certificate No. 4160097.
How is an audit different from a discovery sprint?
The audit answers what to automate and in which order. A discovery sprint takes one chosen use case and prepares it for build: PRD, architecture, prototype and a fixed estimate. Many clients start with the audit and then run discovery on the top priority.
Will you just recommend your own products?
We recommend what pays back for you. Sometimes that is our Happ platform, sometimes an off-the-shelf SaaS, and sometimes a plain workflow without AI. If a process is better fixed with a rule or a CRM setting, the report says so.
How reliable are the ROI estimates?
The model uses your data and assumptions that we write down explicitly. It is a tool to compare options, not a guarantee. We show which inputs move the result most, so you can test them in a pilot before a larger investment.
