AI readiness assessment: data, systems, access and team checked before you build

Before AI integration we check what it will run on. Which data exists and how good it is, whether your systems have APIs, who has access and who will own the result. You get a list of what to fix before the project starts.

What hurts

An AI project starts and a month later the data turns out to be missing. Calls are not recorded, half of the CRM fields are empty and the ERP has no usable API.

Your security team blocks data access, and they are right. Nobody has described which data goes where, who can see it and where logs are stored. The project stalls in approvals.

Nobody inside the company will own AI after launch. The vendor hands over the system and three months later it performs worse. Nobody can explain why.

What we build

  • Inventory of data sources: CRM, ERP, telephony, documents
  • Data quality checks on samples: completeness, duplicates, formats
  • Systems and API review: what can be connected and what cannot
  • Access and personal data storage review
  • Check against ISO 27001, GDPR and sector rules
  • Team review: who will own AI systems in production
  • Comparison of hosted models and dedicated servers
  • Remediation plan with effort estimates

What you get

  • Readiness report with a score per area
  • Data source catalogue with quality notes
  • Data flow diagram for your security and DPO teams
  • Prioritised remediation plan with timelines
  • Recommended architecture for the first project

How we measure the result

  • Blockers found before development starts
  • Time to approve access for the first project
  • Share of key data sources available through an API
  • Security team sign-off on the data flow diagram

Questions

How much does an AI readiness assessment cost?

From $5,000 for 2–3 weeks. The price depends on the number of systems and data sources and on your security requirements. In banks and clinics access approval takes longer, and we plan for it from day one.

What access do you need?

Read access to test environments or anonymised exports. We do not need real personal data to assess structure and quality. We sign an NDA and a GDPR data processing agreement first. Our ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate No. 4160097 is available to your security team.

How is this different from an AI audit?

An AI audit finds where AI makes money. A readiness assessment checks whether the company can technically and organisationally launch the chosen projects. In regulated sectors we often combine both in one contract.

What if the result is that we are not ready?

That is a valid result, and better found before the build. You get a plan of fixes: turn on call recording, clean the CRM or expose an API. Some fixes take a week, and then the project can start.

Do you work with SAP, Odoo and in-house systems?

Yes. We review SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Pipedrive and custom databases. Where no API exists, we assess scheduled file exchange or read access to the database. The report states what each option costs to build and maintain.
