BI dashboard development: sales, cash, stock and ads on one screen
We build BI dashboards for owners and managers. Sales, payments, stock, advertising and calls from separate systems land on one clear screen. We reconcile every number with accounting, so people can trust it.
What hurts
To see how the week went, you open the ERP, the POS, the ad accounts and the CRM. Each one tells a different story. Someone on the team rebuilds it in a spreadsheet, and the report arrives late.
Numbers in different reports never match. Marketing counts leads one way, sales another, finance a third. Meetings turn into debates about whose spreadsheet is right instead of decisions.
A dashboard was built once, but nobody uses it. It is slow, shows everything at once and cannot answer a simple question. Where are we losing money this week, and what should we do about it?
What we build
- Interviews with owners and managers about the decisions the dashboard must support
- Source connectors: SAP, Odoo, POS, CRM, Google Ads, Meta Ads, telephony
- A single metrics glossary: revenue, lead, average order, margin
- A data model in PostgreSQL or BigQuery with scheduled refresh
- Dashboards in Looker Studio, Metabase or Power BI for leadership and teams
- Reconciliation of figures with accounting before go-live
- Role-based access for owners, store managers and marketing
- A daily summary of key figures in Telegram or email
What you get
- Working dashboards with access for your team
- A documented glossary of metrics and formulas
- Integration and data model code in your repository
- A guide for adding a new source or metric
- Training session for managers
How we measure the result
- Time from end of day to a ready report
- Gap between dashboard figures and the accounting ledger
- Number of manual spreadsheets retired
- How many managers open the dashboard each week

Questions
How much does BI dashboard development cost?
From $5,000. The price depends on the number of data sources, how clean they are and how many role-specific dashboards you need. One ERP plus a POS costs less than ten systems with manual spreadsheets. We fix the estimate 2-3 days after discovery. If we overrun it through our fault, we finish at our own cost.
How long does it take?
Usually 3-6 weeks. You see a first screen with real numbers in week two. After that we demo weekly, and you tell us what to cut or add. The longest part is not drawing charts. It is reconciling figures with your accounting.
What access do you need from us?
Read access to the APIs or databases of your ERP, POS, CRM and ad accounts. Plus someone from finance who can confirm the correct figures. We sign an NDA and a GDPR DPA before access. We work under ISO/IEC 27001:2022, certificate No. 4160097.
Which tool should we choose?
It depends on what you already use and how many viewers you have. Looker Studio is cheap and quick to start. Metabase can run on your own server. Power BI fits companies already on Microsoft 365. We advise during discovery with no vendor lock-in.
What if our data is messy?
It almost always is. We show exactly where the problems are: duplicates, empty fields, one product under three names. Some issues we fix with rules automatically. Others need fixing at the source, and we give you the list. The dashboard flags where data is incomplete.
Who maintains the dashboards after launch?
The code and access stay with you, so your team can run it. Or we support it under an SLA: we watch refresh jobs, add metrics and new sources. SLA terms, response time and liability are fixed in the contract.
